LOUISA'S PERSIAN MEAT PATTIES - KOTLERY
|
INGREDIENTS:
|

· 1½ lb. Beef, ground
· ½ Onion, grated · ¾ cups
Bread Crumbs “PARVE” - Non-Dairy · 1 Tbs. Rich’s
“Parve” Creamer “KOSHER” · 1 Egg · ¼ tsp. Garlic
Powder · Flour, sifted · 2½ Tbs. Vegetable Oil
“KOSHER” · ½ cup Water · Salt, to taste · Black
Pepper, fresh, ground, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. In
a large bowl, mix together bread crumbs and Parve coffee
creamer. 2. Add ground beef, grated onion, egg and
garlic powder. 3. Season with salt and pepper, to
taste. 4. Mix thoroughly. 5. Using your hands,
form meat mixture into flat patties. 6. Dredge both
sides in the sifted flour. 7. Mixture will yield about
6 patties, or more depending on the size of the patties.
8. Let rest a few minutes. 9. In a large skillet,
heat the oil over medium heat. 10. Fry kotlety until
golden brown on both sides ~ 4 minutes each side. 11.
Add water. 12. Cover and cook ~ 15-20 minutes. 13.
Serve hot.
CHEF’S NOTE: Serve with couscous, mashed
potatoes or pasta
