YAAKOV'S MARONCHINOS
(PARVE)
| INGREDIENTS: |

4 c. ground
almonds
-
3/4 c. superfine
sugar
-
2 or 3 drops
almond extract "KOSHER"
-
2 Tbs. rose water
"ASMAR'S"
-
2 eggs, lightly
beaten
-
Confectioner's
sugar for the tops

| INSTRUCTIONS: |
-
Most Important: - Preheat the
oven to 350° Fahrenheit.

Mix the almonds and sugar.
-
Add the extract, rose water and eggs
and work to a smooth paste, using your hands.
-
Roll into walnut-sized balls and
place on a parchment or waxed paper-lined baking sheet
about 1-1/2 inches apart.
-
Flatten them slightly and bake for
about 25 min or until just golden.
-
Let cool and dust with confectioner's
sugar.
Yield: approximately
